Robert Peccia & Associates (RPA) is seeking entry-level Civil Engineers to join our employee-owned firm in Montana. You will work across multiple offices and technical groups, gaining hands-on experience on infrastructure projects across the region.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers, designers, and project managers, with opportunities in transportation, water, site civil, airports, and structures. A positive attitude and willingness to learn fit our team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required or expected.
• EI certification or ability to obtain within six months of employment.
• 0–4 years of engineering, design, construction, internship, or related experience.
• Fundamental understanding of engineering principles and design and construction practices.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn new technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
• Willingness to travel and perform field work when required by project assignments.
• Positive attitude and alignment with our ESOP culture.

Responsabilités

• Assist with development of engineering designs, construction plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Perform engineering calculations, evaluate alternatives, analyze data, and prepare technical recommendations.
• Assist with planning documents, engineering reports, technical memoranda, design documentation, and project correspondence.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, clients, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in data collection, site visits, construction observation, inspections, and related field activities.
• Assist with construction documentation, contract administration, record drawings, and project closeout.
• Develop technical expertise through hands-on project experience, mentoring, and training.
