Robert Peccia & Associates (RPA) invites recent graduates and early-career engineers to join our employee-owned civil engineering firm across Montana offices. You will grow with experienced teams on transportation, water, site civil, airports, and more, gaining hands-on experience from planning through construction.

We offer a base salary of $65,000–$80,000 with opportunities for career development, field work, and a strong ESOP culture within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related engineering field.
• Engineering Intern (EI) certification or ability to obtain within six months.
• 0–4 years of engineering, design, construction, internship, or related experience.
• Fundamental understanding of engineering principles and design and construction practices.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn new technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a project team.
• Willingness to travel and perform field work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Design: assist with development of plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Technical Analysis: perform calculations, evaluate alternatives, analyze data, and draft recommendations.
• Reports and Documentation: assist with planning documents, memos, design docs, and project correspondence.
• Project Coordination: collaborate with managers, engineers, designers, clients, and agencies.
• Field Work: participate in data collection, site visits, and inspections.
• Construction Support: assist with documentation, contract administration, and record drawings.
• Professional Development: develop technical skills through mentoring and training.
