Job summary

Robert Peccia & Associates (RPA) is seeking an Engineering Designer at the entry level to join our civil engineering teams across Montana offices. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply for a path that supports professional growth and hands-on experience in infrastructure projects.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers, project managers, and designers on transportation, water, site civil, airports, and structures projects, gaining exposure from planning through construction phases.

Responsibilities

• Engineering Design: Assist with development of designs, plans, specifications, quantities, and estimates.
• Technical Analysis: Perform calculations, evaluate alternatives, analyze data, assist with technical recommendations.
• Reports and Documentation: Aid in planning documents, engineering reports, and design documentation.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, clients, agencies.
• Field Work: Participate in data collection, site visits, inspections, and field activities.
• Construction Support: Assist with construction documentation and closeout activities.
• Professional Development: Develop skills through hands-on project experience and mentoring.
