Job summary
Robert Peccia & Associates, a 100% employee-owned civil engineering firm, seeks an Engineering Designer - Entry-Level Civil Engineer to join our Montana offices. You will work with experienced engineers on infrastructure projects across transportation, water, and site civil disciplines, gaining hands-on experience in planning, design, and construction.
We welcome recent graduates and early-career engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- EI certification or ability to obtain within six months.
- 0-4 years of engineering, design, construction or related experience.
- Fundamental understanding of engineering principles and design and construction practices.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and perform field work as required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with development of engineering designs, construction plans, specs, quantities and cost estimates.
- Perform engineering calculations, evaluate alternatives, analyze data, and prepare technical recommendations.
- Assist with planning documents, engineering reports, technical memoranda, design documentation and project correspondence.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, clients and agencies.
- Participate in data collection, site visits, construction observation and field activities.
