Job summary

OHM Advisors in Michigan is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our growing team. You will support planning and design efforts, perform analyses, and work with senior staff to deliver client-focused, people-centered solutions.

You will gain exposure to multiple projects, use AutoCAD or MicroStation, and contribute to drawings, plans, and documentation while developing your skills through our structured programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the collection and analysis of data to support project development.
• Perform design calculations and investigative analyses to complete assigned tasks.
• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, and supporting documents.
• Use CAD software (AutoCAD or MicroStation) to develop design drawings.
• Review project plans and documentation for technical accuracy and conformance to standards.
• Help schedule and coordinate tasks to meet project timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to design reviews.
• Maintain organized project files and design documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
