Job summary

OHM Advisors in Michigan is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our collaborative team. You will support planning and design efforts on civil projects, work with senior staff, and contribute to data collection, calculations, and drawings using CAD software.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering degree, experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation, and an Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred; internship or co-op in civil engineering is strongly preferred; strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related technical field required.
• Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation in civil projects.
• EIT certification preferred; internship/co-op in civil engineering valued.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in data collection and analysis to support project development.
• Perform design calculations and investigative analyses for tasks.
• Assist in preparing plans, specs, cost estimates, and documents.
• Use CAD software (AutoCAD or MicroStation) to develop design drawings.
• Review project plans for technical accuracy and standards conformance.
• Coordinate tasks to meet project timelines and collaborate with teams.
• Maintain organized project files and design documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
