Job summary

OHM Advisors, the Community Advancement firm, seeks a Graduate Civil Engineer to join a collaborative, growing team across architecture, engineering, planning, surveying, and construction engineering. You will support planning and design efforts, contribute to analyses, and work with senior staff to deliver people-focused solutions for clients.

Responsibilities include data collection, design calculations, CAD drawings, and assisting with plans and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience working in AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in data collection and analysis to support project development.
• Perform design calculations and investigative analyses.
• Assist in preparing plans, specifications, cost estimates, and supporting documents.
• Use CAD software (AutoCAD or MicroStation) to develop design drawings.
• Review project plans for technical accuracy and conformance to standards.
• Help schedule and coordinate tasks to meet project timelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to design reviews.
• Maintain organized project files and design documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
