Job summary

De Wit Immigration Law P.A. is seeking a Junior Business Immigration Associate to join a Miami Shores-based team. The role involves handling a varied caseload from initial consultation through completion across multiple visa categories, with supervision and rigorous writing expectations.

The ideal candidate is licensed in at least one U.S. jurisdiction, has 0-2 years of legal practice (business immigration a plus), and is fluent in English and Spanish.

Qualifications

• Licensed in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 0-2 years of legal practice; business immigration experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• You will work on a varied caseload from initial consultation through completion: O-1, L-1, H-1B, EB-1A, EB-1C, E-2, EB-5, and PERM.
• You will research legal questions and draft briefs, support letters, and RFE and NOID responses with clear direction and close review from a supervising attorney.
• You will observe consultations, take notes, and help with pre-screening.
• You will work directly with clients across the full case lifecycle, and your legal advice and client-facing strategy will be reviewed by an attorney before it goes out.
• You will research and draft filings in APA delay actions in federal court. You will collaborate with a non-hierarchical team of attorneys and legal staff while you learn the firm's systems, templates, and legal standards.
• This is not a document-assembly role. You will learn to manage a caseload like it is your own practice.

Compensation:

$90,000 - $105,000 base plus bonuses & benefits
