Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Civil/Structural Engineering program.
• Completed statics and mechanics of materials coursework.
• Completed at least two design courses (e.g., concrete, steel, wood, or masonry).
• Basic understanding of structural engineering fundamentals (free‑body, shear, axial, moment diagrams).
• Interest in bridge engineering and infrastructure design.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 in undergraduate coursework.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Strong technical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities; able to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analysis and design of bridge components under licensed engineers.
• Prepare and check calculations, sketches, quantities, and documentation.
• Support development of plans and deliverables using structural analysis and CAD software.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and other disciplines on constraints.
• Contribute to team discussions, quality‑control reviews, and problem solving.
• Participate in Weekly Intern Training Series and mentoring opportunities.
