Job summary

AV3, Inc. in Southern Maryland is seeking an Entry-Level AV Technician to support installation and adjustment of audio-visual equipment. You will assist with on-site mounting, wiring, and configuration under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Familiarity with hand tools and basic power tools.
• Ability to work on ladders and at heights safely.
• Must be willing and able to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Assists tenured Technicians with the permanent installation and mounting of equipment, such as projectors, projection screens, monitors, speakers, and microphones, to ceilings and walls in secure spaces.
• Assists with configuring AV equipment including Extron, Crestron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne, and Biamp.
• Assists with the fabrication, termination, and installation of AV and IT cabling.
• Assists with the configuration of video conferencing solutions Polycom and CISCO.
• Assists with the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of various AV systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing existing AV systems.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $20 - $21 per hour

The above pay range represents a general guideline; however, AV3, Inc. considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
