Job summary

AV3, Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level AV Technician to assist with installation and adjustment of audio-visual equipment at client sites.

You will support tenured technicians, help configure AV gear, and participate in testing and troubleshooting in secure environments. Requirements include a high school diploma, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, familiarity with hand and power tools, and willingness to travel up to 50% to CONUS/OCONUS locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Familiarity with hand tools and basic power tools.
• Ability to work on ladders and at heights safely.
• Willingness to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Assists tenured technicians with permanent installation and mounting of AV equipment.
• Configures AV equipment including Extron, Crestron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne, and Biamp.
• Assists with fabrication, termination, and installation of AV and IT cabling.
• Configures video conferencing solutions Polycom and CISCO.
• Tests, commissions, and troubleshoots AV systems; assists in diagnosing issues.

We are excited to be recruiting for the next important piece of our history and new talent, an Entry-Level AV Technician! This position assists with the installation and adjustment of audio-visual equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists tenured Technicians with the permanent installation and mounting of equipment, such as projectors, projection screens, monitors, speakers, and microphones, to ceilings and walls in secure spaces
• Assists with configuring AV equipment including Extron, Crestron, AMX, CISCO, ClearOne, and Biamp
• Assists with the fabrication, termination, and installation of AV and IT cabling
• Assists with the configuration of video conferencing solutions Polycom and CISCO
• Assists with the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of various AV systems
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing existing AV systems
• Performs all other duties as assigned

Pay Range: $20 - $21 per hour

The above pay range represents a general guideline; however, AV3, Inc. considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
