Job summary

Celestica, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Associate Engineer, Manufacturing Equipment, to support automation projects in Fort Worth, TX. You will split time across turnkey vendor work and in-house control development while learning with senior engineers.

You will document URS/SOW, evaluate vendor proposals, and assist with PLC programming, HMI layouts, and data analysis, using Excel/Smartsheet for tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, Computer, or Robotics Engineering.
• Strong baseline structural logic and clean programming mechanics.
• Familiarity with PLCs, C/C++, Python, or ladder logic.

Responsibilities

• Document URS and SOW to validate automation concepts and ensure alignment.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and benchmark turnkey solutions against Celestica standards.
• Assist in in-house controls development and PLC programming; support HMI layouts and PLC logic.
