Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Firestone Complete Auto Care team in the United States. This entry-level role supports diagnosing and repairing basic automotive systems and performing routine maintenance, with training provided from day one.

You will work with a friendly team, gain ASE certifications through our program, and benefit from competitive pay, paid vacation, healthcare options, a 401(k) plan, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Change oil and/or perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and perform tire maintenance.
• Install batteries, shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Road test vehicles.
