Job summary

Lima One Capital is seeking a Jr. Asset Management Analyst to support Special Servicing Asset Managers in the oversight of commercial real estate loan portfolios.

You will assist with monitoring, borrower communications, financial and property analysis, and asset resolution activities. You will work closely with Asset Managers and Special Servicing professionals to identify risks and help ensure timely servicing of assigned loans and projects, including construction draw administration and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field preferred.
• Experience or internship in CRE, banking, lending, asset management, construction lending or financial analysis preferred.
• Real estate market research skills using online resources.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic understanding of construction and construction project plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support management and oversight of performing and non-performing commercial real estate loans.
• Analyze property performance, market conditions, borrower financials and project status.
• Review loan documents, borrower reporting, financial statements and budgets.
• Assist with workouts, modifications, forbearance, recovery and asset resolution.
• Prepare asset summaries, portfolio reporting, business plans and status updates for management and investors.
• Maintain accurate loan, property, project and borrower information in systems.
