The People Of: Professional Services in Chicago, IL is seeking a Junior Antitrust Litigation Associate to join its team. This role offers exposure to sophisticated antitrust matters and a pathway to develop a practice in complex litigation.

You will perform research, draft motions, manage discovery, and collaborate with senior antitrust litigators. Prior antitrust experience is not required, making this an ideal transition for commercial litigators.

Junior Antitrust Litigation Associate

Location: Chicago, IL

A leading global law firm is seeking a junior Associate to join its Antitrust Litigation practice in Chicago.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior litigator looking to develop specialist antitrust experience while building on a strong foundation in complex litigation. Deep antitrust experience is not required, making the position particularly attractive to commercial litigators interested in transitioning into the practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on sophisticated antitrust litigation matters
• Conduct complex legal research and analysis
• Draft motions, briefs, pleadings and other substantive litigation documents

• Analyse issues arising under federal antitrust law, including the Sherman Act

Who You Are

• Junior associate with strong foundational litigation experience
• Experience with legal research, drafting and discovery management
• Prior exposure to antitrust law is preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with the Sherman Act is advantageous
• Genuine interest in developing an antitrust litigation practice
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
• Strong commitment to client service

Salary Range: $215,000 – $260,000

Associates may also be eligible for bonuses.
