Job summary

The People Of: Professional Services in Chicago, IL is seeking a Junior Antitrust Litigation Associate to join its team. This role offers exposure to sophisticated antitrust matters and a pathway to develop a practice in complex litigation.

You will perform research, draft motions, manage discovery, and collaborate with senior antitrust litigators. Prior antitrust experience is not required, making this an ideal transition for commercial litigators.

Qualifications

• Junior associate with strong foundational litigation experience.
• Experience with legal research, drafting and discovery management.
• Familiarity with antitrust law and the Sherman Act is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work on sophisticated antitrust litigation matters.
• Conduct complex legal research and analysis.
• Draft motions, briefs, pleadings and other substantive litigation documents.
• Manage discovery and key case workstreams.
• Analyse issues arising under federal antitrust law, including the Sherman Act.
• Assist with developing litigation strategy.
• Work closely with experienced antitrust litigators.
• Take increasing responsibility for matters and direct client contact as experience develops.
