Senior Antitrust Litigation Associate

Location: Washington, DC

A leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Antitrust Litigation Associate with 7+ years of experience to join its highly regarded Antitrust practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced antitrust lawyer to take significant responsibility on complex civil antitrust litigation and government investigations involving market-leading companies across technology, life sciences, healthcare, media, financial services, transportation and consumer products. The practice handles both plaintiff and defense-side matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle complex civil antitrust litigation
• Work on both plaintiff and defense-side antitrust matters
• Take significant responsibility for sophisticated government investigations
• Assist with merger and other antitrust agency investigations as required
• Develop litigation and investigative strategy alongside senior lawyers
• Draft substantive motions, briefs and other complex legal documents
• Manage significant case and investigative workstreams
• Work directly with clients on high-profile and business-critical matters
• Take a senior role in the development and supervision of matters

Who You Are

• 7+ years of law firm or government agency experience
• Strong antitrust litigation and/or investigations experience
• Experience with civil antitrust matters
• Technology or life sciences sector experience is preferred, but not required
• Government investigations experience outside antitrust is also valued
• Clerkship or judicial internship experience is advantageous
• Superior academic credentials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and client-facing abilities
• Comfortable assuming significant responsibility on complex matters

Compensation

Salary Range: $260,000 – $390,000

Discretionary merit bonuses may also be available.
