Job summary

K&L Gates is seeking a junior associate to join our Antitrust litigation practice in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have strong foundational litigation skills, including legal research, drafting and discovery management, and preferably exposure to antitrust concepts such as the Sherman Act.

Mentoring will help you develop quickly as responsibilities grow. Candidates must be self-starters who can work independently or in a team, with solid academics and a commitment to high-quality client

Qualifications

• Strong foundational litigation skills including legal research, drafting and discovery management.
• Exposure to antitrust concepts and familiarity with the Sherman Act is preferred but not required.
• Ability to quickly develop antitrust knowledge and work with mentoring lawyers to assume more responsibility.

• Work closely with experienced lawyers who provide active mentoring.
• Develop increasing levels of responsibility and client contact.
• Demonstrate self-starting ability and teamwork while delivering high-quality client service.
