Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Jr level AI Software Developer to join the AB&S Business Area, building a hybrid‑cloud, AI‑driven Travel & Customs platform that senses data, predicts demand, and orchestrates resources across the traveler journey.

You will design and implement microservices, work with DevSecOps, and apply AI tools to accelerate development while ensuring security and compliance for government programs. This hybrid role requires in‑office presence in Reston, VA three days a week.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree required with 4+ years of related experience or Master’s with 2+ years of related experience.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build microservices for the platform’s Sense → Predict → Orchestrate → Measure model.
• Integrate real-time data feeds (ATC, manifests, border processing, detection) and AI marketplace components.
• Develop adapters that normalize diverse source schemas to a canonical event model.
• Deliver features like dynamic staffing, lane management, routing, and predictive maintenance.
