Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, build, and operate scalable real-time systems for a mission-critical CBP program. You will work in Ashburn, VA, with a twice-weekly on-site requirement and collaborate across teams in an Agile, SecDevOps environment.

The role emphasizes deep front-end and API work, containerized deployments, and AI/ML integration to enhance software lifecycle outcomes. Strong cloud experience and modern JS frameworks are beneficial.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree and 12 years of related experience or Master’s with 10 years of related experience; OR 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain CBP background investigation before start.
• Experience with AI/ML as part of software lifecycle.
• Experience with Agile Scrum and SecDevOps environment.
• Experience with containerized apps and cloud-ready migration (Konvoy/Cloud).
• 2+ years in Java/JS frameworks (Java, JSF, JavaScript, Spring, Selenium).
• 2+ years in React/Angular/Redux/HTML/CSS/JSX/ES6/ JWT/ JSON/ Babel/ Webpack/ Axios/ NPM/ Node.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable real-time systems.
• Lead or participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including estimation and design.
• Develop cloud-ready applications and support migration to the cloud.
• Collaborate across teams in a SecDevOps-driven environment.
• Apply best practices for frontend and API design, security, and performance.
