Credence is seeking an Entry-Level AI Software Engineer to join our growing technology team. You will work under the mentorship of senior engineers to support the design, development, testing, and deployment of software and AI-driven solutions for federal programs.

You will gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms, data platforms, and machine learning concepts while contributing to mission-focused initiatives. A strong curiosity and willingness to learn are essential traits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, or AI.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP concepts.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications and AI-enabled solutions.
• Support scalable backend services, APIs, and data-driven applications.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in AI/ML solution development, integration, testing, and documentation.
• Work with cloud platforms and modern development tools to support delivery.
• Contribute to Agile development activities including sprint planning and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects during development and QA.
• Develop and maintain technical docs, user guides, and engineering artifacts.
• Learn and apply secure coding, version control, testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Stay current with Generative AI, ML, cloud computing, and modern development practices.
