Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in Plano, TX seeks an Agile Professional I to guide teams in adopting Agile practices, remove impediments, and improve delivery. You will coach teams toward higher maturity and support the Product Owner.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 0–2 years in Agile, familiarity with Jira/Confluence/Redmine, and ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance. Office/hybrid environment and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in an Agile environment or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in an Agile professional role (Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer, Agile Coach, etc.).
• Project Management or Business Analyst experience in an Agile environment.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Understanding of the project lifecycle using Agile principles.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Guide and coach teams on the adoption of Agile practices, facilitating continuous improvement and higher levels of maturity.
• Identify and remove impediments or guide the team on how to remove them to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Lead discussions, decision-making processes, and conflict resolution sessions to promote team collaboration and effectiveness.
• Assist with internal and external communication to improve transparency and radiate information.
• Serve as an authority on the Agile Framework, providing recommendations for the implementation of new Agile teams and best practices.
• Support and educate the Product Owner on refining and maintaining the product backlog.
• Provide all necessary support to the team using a servant leadership style to help them achieve project goals.
