Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking an Agile Professional I to guide teams in applying Agile practices and drive continuous improvement across programs. The role focuses on removing impediments, coaching product teams, and promoting transparency to deliver client projects successfully.

Requires a Secret U.S. Security Clearance, range of responsibilities includes backlog support, and occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in an Agile environment or related field.
In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required.
Demonstrated experience in Agile Professional role (Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer, Agile Coach, etc.).
Experience in project management and issue tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence or Redmine.

Responsibilities

Guide and coach teams on the adoption of Agile practices, facilitating continuous improvement and higher levels of maturity.
Identify and remove impediments or guide the team on how to remove them to ensure efficient project delivery.
Lead discussions, decision-making processes, and conflict resolution sessions to promote team collaboration and effectiveness.
Assist with internal and external communication to improve transparency and radiate information.
Serve as an authority on the Agile Framework, providing recommendations for the implementation of new Agile teams and best practices.
Provide all necessary support to the team using a servant leadership style to help them achieve project goals.
