Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of college coursework in business or accounting, or equivalent experience.
• Four-year degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Credit union/banking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record and classify financial transactions following policies and accounting principles.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for accuracy.
• Support month-end and year-end closing with schedules and documentation.
• Maintain organized financial records to aid audits and reviews.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather data and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
