A financial services company is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join its growing finance team in Fairfield, New Jersey. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP knowledge preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger activity.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Reconcile bank statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Help maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations.
