Job summary

Tri-National, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Accountant to support the Controller and Senior Accountant in the Finance/Accounting Department. A BS/BA in accounting and up to 2 years of experience are required.

You will handle daily banking, assist with monthly statements, and perform various ledger entries with strong Excel skills. The role involves intercompany transactions, accounts payable/receivable support, and collaboration with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in accounting is required.
• Up to 2 years of accounting experience.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and experience with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Complete the daily banking requirements.
• Assist with completion of monthly financial statements.
• Make monthly general ledger entries for various accruals and prepayments.
• Prepare schedules and provide backup and explanations for the annual audit.
• Understand financial reporting and general ledger structure.
• Complete intercompany transactions.
• Support accounts payable, including processing A/P transactions.
• Support accounts receivable, including cash application and managing customer accounts.
• Respond to inquiries from the President and VP of Finance regarding financial results.
• Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as needed.
