You will handle daily banking, assist with monthly statements, and perform various ledger entries with strong Excel skills. The role involves intercompany transactions, accounts payable/receivable support, and collaboration with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Understand financial reporting and general ledger structure.
• Complete intercompany transactions.
• Support accounts payable, including processing A/P transactions.
• Support accounts receivable, including cash application and managing customer accounts.
• Respond to inquiries from the President and VP of Finance regarding financial results.
• Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as needed.

• Complete the daily banking requirements.

• Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
• Complete intercompany transactions.
• Support accounts payable department, including processing A/P transactions.
• Support accounts receivable department, including cash application and managing customer accounts.
• Respond to inquiries from the President, and VP of Finance regarding financial results.
• Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required.

Skills and Qualifications

Education

• BS/BA in accounting is required

Requirements

• Up to 2 years of experience in Accounting is required.
• Must be highly skilled in Microsoft Excel with an emphasis on vlookup and pivot tables.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining exceptional accuracy, is required.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
• Willingness to be a team player – doing whatever is necessary to get the job done.
• Experience with intercompany transactions a plus.
• Quickbooks or AS400 knowledge a plus.
