Job summary

Komar, a global leader in design, sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution of sleepwear, layering, and intimates, seeks a Jr. Account Executive to join our team at the Jersey City corporate office.

We offer a hybrid schedule and require the ability to work in the office 4 days per week. You will partner with Account Executives to manage major accounts and specialty stores, collaborate with design and production, coordinate samples and travel as needed, and use sales tools to identify

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of sales experience in apparel or related sales.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask; comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Retail math and Microsoft Excel skills are needed. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executive and team leadership to effectively manage major accounts, off-price, clubs, specialty stores and deliver superior customer service.
• Collaborate with design and production teams; assist with operational and product development responsibilities.
• Understand inventory management and shipping requirements for accounts. Work closely with internal customer service, production, and logistics teams.
• Leverage sales reporting tools and assist in identifying opportunities to drive the business.
• Assist in the preparation of sales presentations; travel to accounts as required.
• Coordinate samples, catalogues as needed.
• Maintain the calendar and deadlines with cross functional teams.
• Manage special projects and new business opportunities as needed.
