Job summary

The College of Lake County is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator to oversee the planning, coordination, and continuous improvement of Judicial Services programs, including defensive driving, family parenting, and Victim Impact Panels.

Responsibilities include course scheduling, instructor recruitment and support, participant records, compliance, accommodations, and program logistics to ensure effective service delivery and adherence to applicable requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of related experience.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, databases, reporting systems, and web-based applications.
• Strong organizational, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience providing training, onboarding, or operational support in a professional setting.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural, linguistic, socioeconomic, and educational backgrounds and with varying abilities, including individuals with disabilities, and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Project and Process Management – develop and maintain course schedules, coordinate instructor assignments, and ensure staffing for Judicial Services programs; maintain records and ensure documentation and reporting.
• Student/Customer Service – provide guidance to instructors, coordinate interpreters, accommodations, and assist with registrations and payments during peak periods.
• Other – perform related duties as assigned by higher management.
