Qualifications

• Ability to work effectively with diverse learners and school community members.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment of students into the program in collaboration with school administration.
• Provide ongoing leadership and command of the ROTC unit.
• Manage unit supply functions, coach drill teams, and perform administrative duties.
• Be willing to work after school, evenings, and weekends for extracurricular activities.
• Plan, organize, and deliver instruction meeting state guidelines and division curriculum.
• Regularly apply knowledge of learning theory and best practices.
• Model professional behavior and act in the best interests of students.
• Develop and deliver daily lesson plans aligned with state and district standards.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Implement differentiated instruction, accommodations, and modifications.
• Integrate technology and innovative practices into teaching to engage students.
• Establish clear expectations for behavior and learning; create a positive environment.
• Manage classroom routines to ensure safety and instructional time.
• Design formative and summative assessments to measure student learning.
• Analyze data to monitor progress and adjust instruction.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Communicate regularly with students, families, and colleagues.
• Participate in department meetings, team planning, and school initiatives.
• Collaborate with special education staff, counselors, and support personnel.
• Attend work daily and fulfill all assigned responsibilities; engage in professional development.
• Maintain records, including grades and attendance; follow district policies.
