Job summary

Technologent is seeking a Junior Network Technician in Dallas–Fort Worth for a 6+ month contract. The role requires 1–3 years of hands-on networking experience and local travel between customer sites to support infrastructure operations.

You will install, rack, stack, cable, and perform basic config/troubleshooting on Cisco switches, with growth opportunities alongside senior engineers. Ideal candidates are local to DFW, familiar with TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, and documentation practices, and

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience supporting network infrastructure.
• Local to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and able to travel between customer sites.
• CCNA certification preferred, or actively pursuing certification.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco switches.
• Experience with rack and stack, structured cabling, patch panels, and hardware installations.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and DHCP.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in enterprise networking.
