Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Sarasota, FL seeks a JR CEI Inspector to join our field team. You will carry materials up to 60 lbs, prepare testing sites, and assist field representatives in sampling soils, concrete, and asphalt, supporting quality construction monitoring.

You will take notes on the construction process, read simple plans, locate features and elevations, and perform other duties as directed by the supervisor, contributing to safe, accurate testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Description Overview

We are seeking a JR CEI Inspector to join our team in Sarasota, FL. Your role Carries materials (usually up to 60 lbs.). Prepares testing site using shovel, wheelbarrow and other tools. Assists field representatives in sampling materials and conducting soil testing, concrete or asphalt testing, and similar activities. Takes general notes on construction process, keeping diary records. Performs minimal plan reading, e.g., station location, curve information, locating features and elevations. Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

Additional information

Expected compensation range is between $20.00 - $23.00 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
