Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Denver, CO is seeking a Field Representative I to join our team. You will observe construction activities, verify QA/QC for road and bridge components, and document progress and measurements to support payments.

Role requires a high school diploma or an associate degree, travel across Colorado, and ability to perform physical labor. Certifications and OSHA training must be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) plus two years related experience OR an Associates Degree in a related technical field is required.
• Must obtain project / client specific certifications and OSHA 10-hour construction training within 6 months of beginning the project assignment and maintain certifications during employment.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and to understand contract plans and specifications.
• Assignment will require travel to projects throughout Colorado.
• Work may include daytime, nighttime, and weekend work with hours in excess of the standard 40 hour week.

• Verifies work completed is meeting expected quality standards for concrete and asphalt pavement, roadway embankments and road bases, drainage infrastructure, bridge infrastructure, traffic signals, traffic control, and many other components to the project.
• Writes diary inspection reports and measures installed quantities for payment.
• Participates in weekly meetings and provides input as needed for the work performed
• Assists in all types of record keeping and field measurements, as needed.
• Performs other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.

You will work alongside engineers, contractors, and clients as we ensure the work being performed is being completed per the engineering plans and specifications. Additional information

Expected compensation range is between $25.00 - $35.00 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
