Job summary

Lithia Motors' Audi St. Paul dealership is seeking an Automotive Journeymen Technician to diagnose, repair, and road-test vehicles in line with Lithia and manufacturer standards. Join a large, customer-focused team that values safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Prior automotive repair experience is required.
• ASE and manufacturer certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of German vehicles is a plus.
• Team player with a focus on customer service.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair order, record procedures and time.
• Maintain an inventory of standard mechanic’s tools.
• Acquire and maintain ASE and manufacturer certifications with training.
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management.

Responsibilities

• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunction.
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
• Road‑test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results & time, per company recording & clocking procedures.
• Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanic’s tools.
• Acquire and maintain manufacturer and ASE certifications by completing the necessary and required training.
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Suspension and alignment experience, a plus.
• Prior automotive repair experience, REQUIRED.
• ASE and manufacturer certification, a plus.
• A team player focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Knowledge of German vehicles, a plus.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

This is a flat rate position that is also eligible for short‑term and/or long‑term incentives as part of total compensation, which include Flat Rate: $17.00–$30.00 + production bonus.

High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required. We are a drug‑free workplace.
