Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Journeyman Tool & Die Maker for the South Milwaukee, WI area. The role offers a 6:30 am–2:30 pm shift with overtime possible, and a starting hourly rate of $40.50.

Benefits begin on day one, including health and vacation, with weekly pay and shift premiums. The position involves fabricating and maintaining tooling (molds, dies, jigs, fixtures) and requires a five-year apprenticeship with Journeyman certification or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Five-year apprenticeship with Journeyman Toolmaker Certification (576 hours of instruction and 10,400 hours on-the-job).
• Minimum one year experience operating standard machine shop tools and CNC equipment.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position; no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT plans.

Responsabilités

• Fabricate, assemble, inspect and troubleshoot molds, dies, gauges, jigs and fixtures per specs.
• Perform gauge and fixture inspections, record measurements and maintain quality documentation.
• Maintain dies, molds, fixtures, gauges and perform preventive maintenance.
• Operate overhead cranes and assist with tooling design improvements.
