Job summary

Austin Industrial in McIntosh, AL is seeking a Scaffold Builder to construct, assemble, maintain, and dismantle tubular scaffolding on industrial sites. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring at least 3 years of journeyman experience. Work is 40 hours per week (4/10’s).

There is no per diem or relocation funding. You will adhere to OSHA and company safety rules and wear rigorous PPE while performing duties at heights.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial setting.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Ability to wear and work in required PPE including respirators, hard hat and safety gear.

Responsibilities

• Construct, assemble, maintain, and dismantle tubular scaffolding or temporary structures.
• Inspect scaffold material and site for hazards and ensure safe setup.
• Communicate hazards and mitigate risks prior to construction.
• Inspect and properly stow scaffolding material after dismantling.
