Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder for an on-site role in Lugoff, SC. The ideal candidate is a Journeyman Scaffold Builder with 3–5 years of industrial experience, able to assemble, maintain, and dismantle tubular scaffolding safely.

The position is full-time (40 hours/ week, 4/10's). Drug screens and background checks are required, and candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. The company offers benefits and ESOP ownership.

Qualifications

• Must be a Journeyman Scaffold Builder with a minimum of 3-years experience.
• Experience in an industrial setting preferred (3-5 years).
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Construct, assemble, maintain, and dismantle tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures.
• Inspect scaffolding material and site for defects and hazards, and communicate safety issues.
• Erect scaffolding to required dimensions and secure to structures.
• Comply with OSHA, site-specific and Austin Industrial requirements during erection and navigation.
• Perform final inspection and dismantle scaffolding as directed.
