Austin Industrial is seeking a Journeyman Scaffold Builder in a full-time maintenance role in Columbia, SC. You will construct, assemble, maintain, and dismantle tubular scaffolding and temporary structures, adhering to OSHA and company requirements.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Scaffold Builder with 3–5 years of industrial experience.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Construct, assemble, maintain, and dismantle tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures.
• Inspect scaffold material for defects and safety hazards.
• Communicate safety hazards and mitigate risks prior to construction.
• Transport scaffold materials and erect scaffolding to required dimensions.
• Hoist scaffold components and secure scaffolding to structures for stability.
