Job summary

Epsilon Industries is seeking a Pipefitter/Steamfitter Journeyman for an on-site role in Alabama. The position includes a minimum 90-day on-site training period at the Tuscaloosa facility with a $500 per week per diem during training, then transfers to the Oxford facility for ongoing on-site work.

Candidate should have 1–3 years of industrial experience, be able to read drawings, handle hand tools and a powered fork truck, and work well independently or in a team while maintaining safety and

Qualifications

• Must have a suitable combination of education and experience for this role.
• Must be a Pipe Fitter/Steamfitter Journeyman by trade.
• Industrial experience 1–3 years preferred.
• Able to operate hand tools and industrial powered fork truck.
• Able to read and interpret work orders and drawings.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Good time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, install, or maintain pipe systems and related equipment for production systems.
• Study blueprints and specs to determine pipe, tools, and task sequence.
• Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, and install pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Join sections and secure equipment; check systems for leaks with testing equipment.
• Drill, punch holes, and finish surfaces with hand and power tools.
• Willing to cross-train and perform other tasks as needed.
