Job summary

Epsilon Industries in Alabama is seeking a Pipe Fitting & Welding professional for on-site work. The role requires journeyman experience and the ability to read drawings, manage time, and work with hand tools.

Training lasts 90 days with per diem provided, after which the position remains fully on-site at the Oxford facility. Candidates should be able to weld, fit piping, and document work per ASME/AWS codes.

Qualifications

• Must be a Pipe Fitter/Steamfitter Journeyman by trade.
• Minimum 1–3 years industrial experience preferred.
• Able to read and interpret work orders and drawings.
• Able to work with hand tools and operate an industrial powered forklift.
• Excellent time management, organized and detail oriented.
• Able to work independently or as a team player.
• Able to take direction and communicate with others.

Responsibilities

• Fit and weld piping systems to spec, sequence, and schedule.
• Oversee layout, support install, and final spool readiness.
• Own the full spool lifecycle—material prep, fitting, welding, and QC readiness.
• Balance throughput and craftsmanship—your team reflects your standard.
• Lead fabrication of spool assemblies and system piping.
• Ensure code compliance (ASME, AWS) and proper documentation.
• Track fitting/welding progress per module schedule.
