Job summary

Austin Industrial seeks an experienced pipefitter to lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems for industrial production and processing facilities in Texas City, TX. Requires journeyman-level experience and NCCER certification, TWIC, and a valid driver's license.

This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive benefits. Responsibilities include pipe fabrication, installation, control systems, and system modifications.

Qualifications

• 4 years of Journeyman-level experience required.
• NCCER Certification is required.
• TWIC Card and Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications using saws, torches, and pipe threaders and benders.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
• Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.
• Install automatic controls used to regulate pipe systems.
• Turn valves to shut off steam, water, or other gases or liquids from pipe sections.
