Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Pipefitter to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems for industrial production and processing systems. The ideal candidate has Journeyman-level experience and a valid Driver’s License, along with NCCER and TWIC credentials.

The role involves reading blueprints, selecting materials, and ensuring safety and quality at all times on site. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level pipefitter experience is required.
• Ability to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems according to specs.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Cut, thread, and assemble pipe to specifications using appropriate tools.
• Attach pipes to walls and fixtures with brackets, clamps, and welding equipment.
• Plan pipe system layout and install according to project specs and codes.
• Inspect sites for obstructions and ensure structural integrity before proceeding.
• Operate pumps to remove water from flooded areas when needed.
• Turn valves to control steam, water, or other fluids safely.
• All duties performed in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• No third-party inquiries; must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
