Job summary

Pedernales Electric Cooperative is seeking an Apprentice/Journeyman lineman in Liberty Hill, TX to perform and supervise transmission and distribution tasks. The position requires completing the DOL Journeyworker program, a valid Texas CDL, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of DOL program requirements for Journeyworker.
• Valid Texas Class A CDL and MVR per PEC policy.

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain overhead and underground electric lines and equipment.
• Inspect existing primary and secondary power lines and substation equipment.
• Respond to power outages and investigate trouble on lines.
• Maintain and service tools and equipment.
• Lead and monitor job briefings and tailboard meetings.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed.
