Pedernales Electric Cooperative seeks an Apprentice/Lineworker to perform duties in the operation, maintenance, construction and repair of transmission and distribution systems in Texas. You will progressively handle Apprentice 1-4 tasks, build and maintain lines, and participate in safety trainings.

The role requires a high school diploma, completion of a DOL Journeyworker program, and a valid Texas CDL. Expect call-out duty, varied shifts, and a strong safety focus as part of a collaborative

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyworker program completed per DOL.
• Valid Texas Class A CDL with compliant MVR.

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain overhead and underground lines.
• Inspect power lines and substation equipment.
• Lead safety and training for apprentices.
• Participate in call-out duty and various shifts.
• Coordinate with other departments and manage work orders.
