Job summary

SolPowerlines, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Lineman in Texas to install, repair and maintain overhead and underground power lines and equipment. The role follows a multi-step progression from Apprentice to Journeyman and requires extensive hands-on experience with high-voltage systems.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid CDL A, pass background checks, and be able to work in diverse weather, travel when needed, and supervise apprentices on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Journeyman level experience on overhead/underground power lines.
• CDL A license required; CPR/First Aid certifications preferred.
• Able to pass background, drug tests, and physical exams.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain overhead and underground power lines and equipment.
• Perform line switching, load checks and fault-finding on energized circuits.
• Work from poles, towers and with specialized equipment in varied weather.
• Assist in training apprentices and other crew members.
