Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of hands-on experience with an electric utility.
• Skilled in installing and removing poles and transformers.
• Capable of performing heavy physical work in all seasons.

Responsibilities

• Engages in work of construction, maintenance and repair of lines.
• Demonstrates a solid commitment to safety.
• Locates faults on open or grounded street light circuits.

Skills

Hands-on experience with electric utilities

Valid CDL Operator’s License

Pole climbing skills

Knowledge of transmission and distribution systems

Understanding of AC and DC circuits

Ability to interpret complex prints

Education

Qualification certificate as Journey Line worker
