Job summary

NuAxis, LLC is a federal IT company seeking a Computer Support Specialist Journeyman to provide remote and deskside enterprise support for government users, systems, and tools. The role owns incidents and requests, documents steps taken, and ensures adherence to SLAs.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in enterprise support, with HDI Analyst and CompTIA A+ certifications, and experience with Windows/macOS, VPN, and M365. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with MS certifications.

Qualifications

• Two or more years in an enterprise call center or help desk providing end-user support.
• Experience configuring, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Windows operating systems in a large network environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ITIL Foundations or related frameworks helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and deskside computer support through phone, email, chat, and other approved channels.
• Own, track, troubleshoot, document, resolve, and elevate IT incidents and service requests involving applications, access, hardware, software, endpoints, and workplace tools.
• Fulfill requests within SLAs, provide timely customer status updates, and proactively elevate issues that cannot be resolved within established timeframes.
• Support user accounts, password resets, VPN, Microsoft 365, Windows workstations, Mac devices, mobile devices, printers, network drives, remote support tools, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, and approved business applications.
• Respond to alerts and escalations, collaborate with users and IT support groups, and identify recurring issues to improve service delivery.
• Create, update, and retire help desk and computer support documentation as needed.
