Job summary

Smurfit Westrock, located in Denver, seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician for night shifts to maintain and repair electrical and mechanical systems. Starting pay is $30.46–$34.81 per hour with overtime potential and comprehensive benefits.

Training occurs during the day, with weekends and overtime as scheduled. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting drives, PLCs, and electrical controls, plus using CMMS for work orders and recordkeeping.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery: drives, PLCs, VFDs, servos, relays, 3‑phase power.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Troubleshoot low voltage circuits, analog devices, VFDs, and motor control circuitry to find root causes.
• Maintain equipment in non-production areas including warehouse and labs.
• Use CMMS for work orders and recordkeeping.
• Drive and PLC troubleshooting and installation.
