Job summary

Utilities Service, LLC is seeking a Licensed Journeyperson Electrician to install, repair, and maintain streetlight systems and related equipment. You will read blueprints to troubleshoot and devise solutions, with duties spanning from wiring to safety compliance, while working from heights in bucket trucks and platforms.

The role is full-time, non-exempt, and paid hourly, with comprehensive benefits and a focus on safety and reliability in municipal lighting projects.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work at heights and with aerial devices.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally, 10 pounds continuously.
• Roadway lighting experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates & participates in electrical maintenance & repair of streetlights and related equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair wiring, circuits, switches, relays, lighting, motors, and related components.
• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions.
• Work from heights in bucket trucks, ladders, and aerial platforms.
• Complete monthly maintenance logs and reports.
• Use testing devices on voltages up to 600V.
