Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Licensed Journeyperson Electrician to install, repair, and maintain streetlight electrical systems. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot faults, and perform scheduled maintenance to keep critical lighting functioning.

The role requires climbing, working from heights, and lifting up to 80 lbs. A Florida journeyman license is required, with valid driver's license; CDL preferred and ability to travel for storm work.

Qualifications

• Florida journeyman license required for this role.
• Experience with roadway lighting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work from heights and in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates & participates in electrical maintenance and repair of streetlights and related equipment.
• Install, maintain, and repair wiring, circuits, switches, relays, lighting, motors, and related components.
• Troubleshoots malfunctions and develops effective solutions.
• Climbs and works from bucket trucks, snooper trucks, scaffolding, ladders, and aerial lifts.
• Performs routine bridge maintenance, lamp replacement, and system organization.
• Keeps maintenance logs and reports; uses testing devices on voltages up to 600V.
